A mattress with orthopaedic properties adapts well to the body's shape and helps maintain correct spinal alignment throughout the night. Most orthopaedic mattresses are on the firmer side, making them particularly suitable for individuals who experience back pain. They are designed to evenly distribute body weight and reduce pressure points in key areas such as the neck, back, and hips, promoting healthier sleep and improved posture.

Mattress care

To extend the lifespan of your mattress, it’s worth knowing a few key tips on how to care for it properly. What can help maintain the mattress’s original shape? • It is recommended to rotate the mattress every 2–3 months. • It is advisable to use slats with gaps no wider than 3 cm. Please note: minor indentations (up to approx. 2 cm) are not considered a manufacturing defect.

7-zone support mattress

The mattress base is designed to evenly distribute body weight and allow full relaxation. To create distinct firmness zones, two types of filling with different levels of softness are used. The areas of the mattress under the shoulders, hips, and calves — which bear the most pressure — are made softer, while the zones beneath the head, lower back, thighs, and feet are firmer. This targeted distribution helps maintain correct spinal alignment and allows the muscles to fully relax.

Roll-packed

During production, mattresses are rolled and vacuum-packed. This makes them easier to transport and helps save space. What should you know when purchasing a vacuum-packed mattress? • Carefully unpack and unroll the mattress. • The mattress will regain its natural shape within 72 hours. It is not recommended to use it until it has fully expanded. • New mattresses may have a slight odour, which will gradually fade. We advise keeping the mattress in a well-ventilated room for the first few days after unboxing.

Double-sided mattress

This type of mattress is superior to standard options because it can be used on both sides. Typically, double-sided mattresses fall into two categories: those with the same firmness on both sides and those with different firmness levels. In same-firmness mattresses, both sides offer equal support. In dual-firmness mattresses, each side has a different level of firmness — meaning one mattress provides two comfort options in one. It is recommended to rotate all double-sided mattresses every few months to maintain shape and performance.

Pocket springs

Each spring inside the furniture is individually encased in its own fabric pocket. This design allows every spring to move independently, preventing motion transfer to the person sleeping beside you. The fabric pockets also help reduce noise, preventing the springs from creaking. Pocket springs provide targeted support by responding precisely to the areas of the body under the most pressure, helping to maintain proper spinal alignment during sleep. These types of mattresses typically have lower breathability, so to preserve their original qualities for as long as possible, it is recommended to rotate them regularly.
