Velvet is a fabric with a luxurious texture and appearance, characterised by its soft, velvety surface. It is a shadowed fabric, meaning it tends to shift in shade depending on the lighting. Velvet looks particularly striking in rich, earthy tones such as green, deep brown, grey, and blue. Modern velvet is often made with blends of synthetic fibres, viscose, or polyamide. Over time, some areas of the fabric may lose their soft velvet texture — this is a natural part of the fabric’s charm and character.

How to care for velvet: To refresh the fabric, use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld steamer. Fold-down unfolding mechanism

To unfold the sleeping function, lift the seat section and lower it to the floor, then fold down the backrest to complete the bed.
