Velour

Velour is a glossy and soft fabric that tends to change shade depending on the lighting. At first glance, it resembles velvet, but they are distinct materials. Velour can be made from either natural or synthetic fibres — most commonly cotton, polyester, or a blend of both. It is produced using a knitted construction, which gives the fabric a slight stretch. With proper care, velour-upholstered furniture can retain its original appearance for longer. To remove dust, use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment. If liquid spills occur, blot the surface gently with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub the fabric, as this can damage the pile. For tougher stains, use a mild water-based cleaner, and always test any cleaning product on a hidden area first.

Robot vacuum-compatible

This piece of furniture is designed to be compatible with robot vacuum cleaners. Furniture with higher legs is becoming increasingly popular, especially for homes equipped with robot vacuums. The leg height of such furniture is tailored to suit the clearance requirements of standard robot vacuum models. Please note: the leg height should be at least 10 cm to ensure the robot can clean underneath the furniture without getting stuck.

Bonnell springs

These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress. Mattresses with Bonnell springs respond quickly to changes in body position. As the springs are firmly connected to one another, they tend to move as a single unit, offering firm and uniform support.

Different fabrics

The fabric on the back of the furniture differs from the main upholstery. In most cases, it is a black material with a distinct texture. For this reason, we recommend placing such furniture against a wall.

Polyurethane foam mattress

Polyurethane foam (also known as foam rubber) is a lightweight material that evenly distributes body weight and helps maintain proper spinal alignment. These types of mattresses typically have lower breathability, so to preserve their original qualities for as long as possible, it is recommended to rotate them regularly.

Spring lift mechanism

The spring-assisted mechanism works using built-in springs that absorb part of the load, making it easier to lift the bed base. While the springs ease the lifting process, some effort is still required from the user. If needed, the strength of the mechanism can be reduced simply by removing one or more springs.
