Over time, some areas of the fabric may lose their soft velvet texture — this is a natural part of the fabric’s charm and character. How to care for velvet: To refresh the fabric, use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld steamer. If any liquid is spilled, blot it immediately with an absorbent cloth — do not rub, as this may damage the fabric. Use only cleaners specifically designed for velvet or warm water with mild soap. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.
