Spring lift mechanism

The spring-assisted mechanism works using built-in springs that absorb part of the load, making it easier to lift the bed base. These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress. As the springs are firmly connected to one another, they tend to move as a single unit, offering firm and uniform support.

Very nice bed, lovely fabric, looks sturdy and is very comfortable for us. I have less back pain since I've been sleeping on it. I deducted one star because the bed had a slight odor, but this disappeared after a few days of airing it out.
