When I bought it, 8 kilos seemed like a perfectly normal load capacity for each drawer. It wasn't until I was assembling it that I realized how thin/slim the drawer bottoms were. This has significantly reduced my enthusiasm for the product. But assembling the chest of drawers wasn't difficult. It looks good, fits in the designated spot, and the drawers move smoothly and easily. It's just that it's filled with lighter contents than I originally thought.
