Soft, pleasant-to-the-touch fabric with a delicate lustre. The shade may change slightly depending on the lighting. The surface is highly resistant to abrasion and pilling. The fabric can be cleaned with mild upholstery cleaners.

Martindale cycles

The strength of the fabric, also known as abrasion resistance, is determined by the world-recognized 'Martindale' fabric rub test. During this test, a sample of fabric is pressed against metal discs and rubbed at a certain speed in a circular motion until at least two threads of fabric are broken. Test results are presented in the number of cycles. The more cycles, the more resistant the fabric is. The fabric may be used for furniture if the result of this test is more than 5000 rubbing cycles.

The lint-resistant fabric is assessed by a special 'Piling' test. During the test, the fabric's surface resistance to lint formation during friction is determined. The results are visually evaluated from 1 to 5 points compared to the original example of the fabric. 1 means that the fabric tends to collect lint, 5 - fabric is lint-resistant.
