Velour

Velour is a glossy and soft fabric that tends to change shade depending on the lighting. At first glance, it resembles velvet, but they are distinct materials. Velour can be made from either natural or synthetic fibres — most commonly cotton, polyester, or a blend of both. It is produced using a knitted construction, which gives the fabric a slight stretch. With proper care, velour-upholstered furniture can retain its original appearance for longer. To remove dust, use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment.
