These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress. Lift the seat section until you feel it lock into place, then lower it to fully unfold the unit into a sleeping position. To return it to its original form, simply repeat the steps in reverse. Before transforming the furniture, it’s recommended to leave a small gap between the wall and the back of the sofa to avoid damaging the wall when lifting the seat. This mechanism also includes a built-in storage compartment — perfect for keeping bedding neatly tucked away.

The couch is very good (there was that warehouse smell, but nothing that the open windows wouldn't ventilate), the surface is hard, but not unpleasantly so. The handrails are placed on the same tracks-troughs as for the drawers, so it is very easy to remove and put them on yourself (if, for example, you no longer need the handrails, or if you only want one). Those pockets on the side are maybe a little too deep for the remote control, but it's really convenient to put any newspaper in there. The delivery guys were also very cool men.
