Additional information

Polyurethane foam mattress

Polyurethane foam (also known as foam rubber) is a lightweight material that evenly distributes body weight and helps maintain proper spinal alignment. These types of mattresses typically have lower breathability.

Velvet

Velvet has a luxurious look and feel, with a soft surface and subtle shift in shade depending on the light. It looks particularly striking in rich tones like deep green, brown, grey, and blue. Blended with synthetic fibres, viscose, or polyamide for added durability, it is a fabric well worth considering for your upholstered furniture and decorative cushions. Over time, velvet may naturally develop subtle variations in texture and shading as the pile settles. This is a normal characteristic of the fabric and does not affect its quality. However, proper care helps keep the fabric looking its best and prevents unwanted damage. To refresh the pile, brush gently with a soft-bristled brush or use a handheld steamer. Spills should be blotted immediately with an absorbent cloth – do not rub, as friction may damage the fibres. Use only specialised velvet cleaners, and always test on an inconspicuous area first.

Our website features thousands of different furniture models supplied by hundreds of different suppliers, which makes it nearly impossible to physically inspect every product before offering it online. However, this particular product – or its supplier – has been recommended by our team based on several key factors: the quality of materials used, strong price-to-quality ratio, low rate of warranty-related issues, secure packaging, and consistent sales history. We regularly review our recommendations to ensure quality and reliability, so you can feel confident that you've chosen one of the best options available.

Bonnell springs

These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress. Mattresses with Bonnell springs respond quickly to changes in body position. As the springs are firmly connected to one another, they tend to move as a single unit, offering firm and uniform support.

Soft mattress (H2)

Designed for those who prefer a gentle, cushioning feel. For general firmness recommendations based on your body type, please refer to the table.

Spring lift mechanism

The spring-assisted mechanism works using built-in springs that absorb part of the load, making it easier to lift the bed base. While the springs ease the lifting process, some effort is still required from the user. If needed, the strength of the mechanism can be reduced simply by removing one or more springs.

Different fabric of the mattress

The fabric under the mattress topper may differ from the main bed fabric. The color or texture may vary depending on the manufacturer.

Fabrics

Paros fabric

Plush fabric with a gentle structure, often referred to as velvet. It may change shade depending on the lighting. Soft furnishings made in this fabric are popular due to its strength and resistance to stretching and sunlight. Clean only with mild upholstery cleaners.

The box spring is beautiful, yes. But the sleeping comfort is lacking! The bed is incredibly hard! The topper that came with it is useless. It's not a topper at all, just a thin blanket. It's a shame, because beauty and comfort should go hand in hand in a box spring!

The bed is beautiful, the color is gorgeous. It's easy to assemble, it's solid, the mattress is a little hard and the included topper is thin, but it's not something I had a hard time getting used to. I sleep very well in it.

When evaluating furniture1, the process from placing the order to bringing the furniture home is 10 points! And the bed itself is high-quality, beautiful as in the photos, only very hard, the included mattress topper does not have any effect, so you need to additionally take care of a good and thick mattress topper.

The bed is excellent, solid materials, nice color, so many places to store bedding in the box. The bed can be used without a mattress topper, but it is better with one. Recommendations!
