Soft-close mechanism

MDF coated

MDF stands for medium-density fibreboard. It is similar to chipboard, but differs in how it is produced. MDF is made by bonding and pressing wood fibres together to form a solid, uniform panel. As a result, it offers excellent resistance to cracking and bending.

Tempered glass

This is heat-treated glass with a mechanical strength that is 5–6 times greater than standard, untreated glass. When broken, the glass shatters into many small fragments that are far less sharp than those of regular glass, making it a safer option.
