Bonnell springs

These are cone-shaped metal springs combined with a polyurethane foam and felt base. This type of spring ensures excellent air circulation, helping to prevent moisture build-up inside the mattress. Mattresses with Bonnell springs respond quickly to changes in body position. As the springs are firmly connected to one another, they tend to move as a single unit, offering firm and uniform support.

'OEKO-TEX®' certified

OEKO-TEX® is a testing and certification system that ensures fabrics are free from harmful substances. The more closely a material comes into contact with the skin, the stricter the standards it must meet. To be awarded this certification, the entire mattress is evaluated – including the cover, stitching threads, and various accessories (such as buttons, zips, etc.). Mattresses bearing the OEKO-TEX® certificate are free from substances that may cause allergic reactions, offering added reassurance for sensitive users.

Roll-packed

During production, mattresses are rolled and vacuum-packed. This makes them easier to transport and helps save space. What should you know when purchasing a vacuum-packed mattress?
• Carefully unpack and unroll the mattress.
• The mattress will regain its natural shape within 72 hours. It is not recommended to use it until it has fully expanded.
New mattresses may have a slight odour, which will gradually fade. We advise keeping the mattress in a well-ventilated room for the first few days after unboxing.

Polyurethane foam mattress

Polyurethane foam (also known as foam rubber) is a lightweight material that evenly distributes body weight and helps maintain proper spinal alignment. These types of mattresses typically have lower breathability.

Double-sided mattress

This type of mattress is superior to standard options because it can be used on both sides. Typically, double-sided mattresses fall into two categories: those with the same firmness on both sides and those with different firmness levels. In same-firmness mattresses, both sides offer equal support. In dual-firmness mattresses, each side has a different level of firmness – meaning one mattress provides two comfort options in one. It is recommended to rotate all double-sided mattresses every few months to maintain shape and performance.

Care of the mattress

To extend the lifespan of your mattress, it’s important to know a few essential tips on how to take proper care of it. What actions can help maintain the original shape of your mattress?

• It is recommended to rotate or flip the mattress every 2–3 months.

• Use slats with gaps no wider than 3 cm.

• Do not place the mattress directly on the floor or on surfaces not intended for mattress use, especially in damp rooms, as this may damage the mattress or cause mold.

• Avoid jumping or placing heavy objects on the mattress for prolonged periods.

• Always keep the mattress fully extended – folding it may damage its structure.

It’s also important to note that mattress impressions (up to approximately 2 cm) are not considered a manufacturing defect. During packaging, the mattress is tightly compressed to ensure protection, which may result in slight size variations. Once unwrapped and in use, the mattress will return to its original dimensions. Additionally, due to the sealed packaging, a specific odor typical of new products may be noticeable at first – this will dissipate within a few days. Use the mattress with a bed base that has closely spaced slats. The slats provide cushioning, reducing pressure on the body, while the small gaps between them ensure proper air circulation and help prolong the lifespan of the product.
