There could be higher supports, but then it would be difficult to carry through the door, because as I mentioned, the furniture is fully assembled. The pillow filling is pieces of foam. They are hard and puffy and therefore unsightly. I had to change the fillings to down. Overall, the furniture is beautiful and functional. I am satisfied.
